1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website and services of Elite Soccer Youth Development Academy (ESYDA), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, participants, parents, guardians, and users of our website and programs.

2. Description of Services

ESYDA is a nonprofit youth development organization offering soccer programs, college preparation services, workforce development training, community programs, and related events. Our website provides information about our programs, online registration, event management, and communication tools for participants and their families.

3. Eligibility & Registration

• Participants must meet the age requirements specified for each program.
• Registrations for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• ESYDA reserves the right to refuse or revoke participation for any individual who violates our Code of Conduct.

4. Fees & Payment

• Program fees are outlined at the time of registration and are subject to change.
• Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors.
• All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
• ESYDA reserves the right to cancel a registration if payment is not received by the specified deadline.
• Returned checks or failed payments may result in a service fee.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, and guardians are expected to:

• Treat coaches, staff, officials, and fellow participants with respect and dignity.
• Refrain from harassment, bullying, discrimination, or abusive language or behavior.
• Follow all instructions from coaches and ESYDA staff.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Report any safety concerns promptly to ESYDA staff.

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or permanent removal from ESYDA programs without a refund.

6. Waiver of Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation in athletic and physical activities involves inherent risks, including risk of physical injury. By registering for ESYDA programs, participants and their guardians acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks. ESYDA, its directors, coaches, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in programs or events, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Medical Consent & Emergency Care

By registering a minor, the parent or guardian consents to ESYDA obtaining emergency medical treatment for the participant if necessary and if a parent or guardian cannot be reached in a timely manner. ESYDA is not responsible for medical costs incurred.

8. Media Release

Unless a written opt-out is submitted prior to registration, participants and guardians grant ESYDA permission to photograph or record participants during programs and events, and to use such media for promotional, educational, and organizational purposes across digital and print platforms, without compensation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the ESYDA website, including logos, text, images, and graphics, is the property of ESYDA and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission from ESYDA.

10. Program Changes & Cancellations

ESYDA reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any program, event, or activity due to weather, insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation by ESYDA, participants will be notified promptly and offered a credit, rescheduled date, or refund at ESYDA's discretion.

11. Privacy & SMS Communications

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By providing your phone number and opting in on any ESYDA registration or contact form, you consent to receive automated SMS/text messages from ESYDA regarding practices, games, events, and important announcements. Message frequency varies; standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For full details, see Section 9 of our Privacy Policy (SMS Opt-In Policy).

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maryland.

13. Changes to Terms

ESYDA reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the revised Terms on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
