As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, soccer fever is set to grip Montgomery County once again. The ESYDA Fall Soccer Season 2025 is officially launching this September 2nd, promising twelve action-packed weeks of youth soccer, community spirit, and player development. The season will run through November 25th, bringing together budding talents and enthusiastic supporters across several Maryland locations.
A League for Every Young Player
The ESYDA program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 14, with two main divisions:
Dribblers Division (Ages 4–6): Aimed at introducing the youngest players to the joy of soccer through fun, skill-building activities.
Performance Division (Ages 7–14): This is the ESYDA Home League, focusing on team play, tactical development, and in-house competitions.
From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, weekday evenings will come alive with whistles, cheers, and the rhythm of the game at several well-equipped venues, including:
Benjamin Banneker Middle School, Burtonsville, MD
Jackson Road Elementary School, Silver Spring, MD
Fairland Recreational Park, Burtonsville, MD
Gaithersburg Middle School, Gaithersburg, MD
These strategic locations ensure accessibility for families throughout the region, while offering safe and vibrant environments for training and games.
Competitive Edge: Travel Teams & Scholarships
For more seasoned players, ESYDA’s Travel Team program includes categories from U8 to U16. These competitive squads will represent the league in regional tournaments and matches, offering a higher level of play for ambitious athletes. Importantly, scholarships are available, reinforcing ESYDA’s commitment to inclusivity and access.
